Welcome to Distance Education at North Georgia Technical College. During your academic career, you might take advantage of some of the technology-driven learning options offered at NGTC. You may collaborate with instructors and students on other campuses through videoconferencing technologies or you may interact with others through real-time Internet learning environments. No matter how you choose to learn at NGTC, we ensure that your experience will be a rewarding one.

NGTC hosts multiple videoconferencing units on all three campuses. Students on one campus may have opportunities to interact with subject experts on another campus. These classes are identified on the class offerings list as DLC - notifying students that multiple campuses will be involved. Sometimes teaching faculty will reside on one campus but will transmit to multiple sites. In these cases, remote sites will be supervised by NGTC personnel to ensure the technical environment runs smoothly. Read (and watch) a
short tutorial on Distance Education classes utlizing videoconferencing technologies at NGTC.

Imagine being able to take the classes you want anytime and anyplace. Often, online learning can provide this option for students. If you have a very full life with hectic schedules and many demands, then our online learning opportunities may be for you.
